SPEECH magazine describes hottest topics and visions in the modern architecture highlighting them from different points of view including theoretical and practical issues, history, and relevance. We use both foreign and Russian experience and sources to compare global tendencies and local peculiarities enabling architects, cultural theorists, critics, architectural historians and other experts in different spheres related to architecture from Russia and abroad to speak directly.
Each issue tends to fully cover a topic relevant to modern architecture predetermined by editors and deals with the most interesting examples of the topic found in Russian and foreign architecture.
The topic is determined with reference to that part of architect’s profession that gives grounds to consider it not only a sector of property market but an art itself.
The premiere issue of the speech magazine was dedicated to modern architectural ornament; the second one investigated problems of old buildings repurposing. The third issue coming in June 2009 is supposed to be concerned with city squares. All the materials are fully translated into English and illustrated with numerous graphics.

The first materials of the issue specify the topicality of the chosen subject. Scattered fragments - constructions of the last years created by both well-known and less known architects in different countries with a glance to the context of theoretical architectural discourse - are being transformed into holistic picture that provides guidance on one of the pressing tendencies of the modern architecture.
history
Historical reviews and sketches presented in this heading expose a cyclic recurrence and interrelationship of processes taking place in the Culture. The subject of the issue is being investigated as exemplified by the history of the Russian architecture and the Culture as a whole. The heading deals with the key projects which are crucial for investigated phenomenon or event connected with the history of architecture of the XX century.

This heading compares two equally convincing and in the meantime opposing architectural positions showing different interpretations the offered subject.
subject
The "Object" heading offers 5 to 10 implemented projects of the last years that specify the given subject in the most interesting and variety way. Each project is supported by considerable number of photos and drawings and is commented on by the text of an architectural critic.

This section carries one or several digests or reviews that specify the topicality of the issue subject at the level of the city and formation of its environment.

This part contains the views and experience shared by the Architects, Designers, Developers, Chief Architects of the cities and other experts from the most different areas connected with the actual architectural process.
